About Antonio Reynoso

Antonio Reynoso was born and raised in the Los Sures section of Williamsburg. He has been a community leader and public servant for many years, working hard inside and outside government to improve the quality of life for local families and households. Over the past six years, he has served as chief of staff to Councilwoman Diana Reyna. During that time, he has helped advance progressive policies and legislative reforms on affordable housing, economic development, job creation, education, and public safety. Throughout, Antonio has been a visible and vocal leader on issues that matter to the residents of the 34th Council district, which represents Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Ridgewood.

Antonio is an organizer who knows how to build diverse coalitions and empower people. He knows how to keep city government connected to what is happening on the streets. He is running for City Council to deepen those connections and build on his record of fighting to expand the middle class and increase opportunities for low-income people. Antonio is running an active grassroots campaign with growing support from labor unions, progressive organizations, community groups, and leading Democrats across the city.

As the next City Council Member representing the 34th district, Antonio wants to ensure that the gains of new economic development and business growth are beneficial to everyone.  He is committed to creating a stronger and better future for the 34th Council district: a future in which all residents participate fully in the policy-making that impacts their lives.
